Posted by bcg1961 on 24th September 2008

The 7th Annual World’s Largest Ice Cream Social is being held at participating Cold Stone Creamery locations on Thursday, September 25.  The event will be from 5:00 – 8:00pm local time.

The event is being held to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  In exchange for the free ice cream treat, Cold Stone Creamery requests donations to local Make-A-Wish Foundation chapters.  A donation is not required to receive the free ice cream.

Customers will receive a free 3 ounce Make-A-Wish ice cream creation.  There are two creations to choose from, Emily’s creation or Jack’s creation.  Emily’s creation is Nutter Butter ice cream, yellow cake pieces, Kit Kat candy bits and white chocolate chips.  Jack’s creation is marshmallow ice cream, Oreo cookie bits, chocolate chips and fudge. Both creations sound yummy!

Limit one free ice cream per customer at participating Cold Stone Creamery locations.

Free Mailing Labels from Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Posted by bcg1961 on 27th August 2008

You can request free mailing labels from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  Choose from two designs, Roses or America.  A valid email address is required.

Cystic Fibrosis is life-threatening disease that causes excessive mucus build-up in the lungs and digestive system.  It is an inherited disease that affects about 30,000 adults and children in the United States, and 70,000 worldwide. An additional 10 million Americans are carriers of the defective gene that causes Cystic Fibrosis, but do not have the disease themselves.

A donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is not necessary to request the free mailing labels.  However, if you do choose to donate, your contribution will be used to advance research toward finding treatments and hopefully a cure for this genetic disease.
